Anatomy of Hair [Floating Aura} is an expanded cinema performance that combines live projection, video, light, hair, and ritual as a collective practice of resilience, migration, and belonging. Created in collaboration with sixteen immigrant women on Governors Island, the work transforms filmed portraits through live interventions that merge the body with natural elements of Governors Island.

Through gestures inspired by rituals, light is projected onto the body, reconfiguring each participant’s emotional aura where hair functions as both conductor and metaphor.
