I work with my family photographs from the late 19th and 20th centuries. I distort, combine and alter these photographs in order to ignite and re-animate them. Most of these historical photographs are of my female ancestors. Through my practice, I impress my own destiny on to visual story of my family and bring that history into my nomadic present.
