Engrams 2026 is a continuation of Engrams 2025-2015 where I work with the original family photographs from the late-19th and 20th centuries. Most of these vintage photographs are of my female ancestors, posing in family groups. I distort, combine and alter these photographs in order to ignite and re-animate them. Through my practice, I visually rewrite their memory, trapped feelings, and emotions connected to their fate, like an Engram.
